Every November, National Adoption Awareness Month is recognized across the U.S. I’d like to invite you to join me in celebrating adoption this month!
A wonderful way to celebrate adoption is through prayer. I believe in the power of prayer and pray daily for every adoption that happens through my company, Lifetime Adoption Center. When I was in my own adoption process to adopt my son more than 30 years ago, prayer was a big part of my journey. It took prayer to hear God’s voice throughout the adoption. God gave me guidance on what to do and when to do it. When my husband and I adopted our son Cory, we knew that he was meant for our family because we had confirmation through prayer.
As the air turns crisp, it reminds me that this is the time of year to look at how much we all have to be grateful for. Every day and every moment is a blessing, a true gift from God.
I’m so thankful for my caring, dedicated team at Lifetime, our devoted adoptive parents-in-waiting, the birth parents seeking direction, and of course the children I’ve had the honor to help as they become part of loving families. What a privilege it is to celebrate 31 years of creating families through adoption at Lifetime!
