Mardie Caldwell, role model of the year! We’re excited to announce that Mardie Caldwell was awarded Nevada County’s 2015 Female Role Model of the Year! She received the most votes out of a pool of over 35 ladies from the area.

She was awarded the title 2015 Role Model of the Year by M3 Mall & M3 Queens, who hosted Cornish Christmas For the Entire Family at the historic Holbrooke Hotel. Presenting her with the award was 2014’s winner, Jennifer Litton of The Friendship Club.

Mardie adds this new award to a host of others she’s received over the years, including the Women Helping Women Award from Soroptomists International, Publishers Weekly Rising Star Award, iParenting Media Award, and Woman-Owned Business of the Year.

M3 Mall, a local business, collects suggestions from Nevada County residents on who they think should be Nevada County’s “Female Role Model of the Year.” Out of the 35 women nominated, the top three with the most votes were reviewed by the M3 Mall’s executive committee. They were looking to determine how many votes each contestant received on Facebook, and Mardie had the most!

She shares, “Thank you to all that were part of this amazing day celebrating women from all ages. Melisa you did a fantastic job of bringing this all together right before Grass Valley’s Cornish Christmas celebrations. Bless you and your team.”
