He was such a legend, and I was so honored to be asked to come into his studio on Larry King Live to talk about adoption. After talking with him, it was easy for me to see how his casual, easygoing interviewing style helped make Larry King Live one of CNN’s longest-running and most popular programs.
It was such a privilege to meet him in person and be interviewed by him. He took such an interest in what I had to share about adoption. It was clear to see why he was such a successful broadcaster – he truly listened and was interested in everyone he spoke with. He was one-of-a-kind for sure!
I took a few minutes to re-watch my interview with him about the Haitian orphan crisis and adoption, and thought I’d share it here to honor Larry and his legacy.
