I was honored to be the Relay for Life of Nevada County’s keynote speaker. You can watch my speech in the video below. Motivational speaking is something that I enjoy doing: it holds the power to spur others into action.
In the video, I share my experience and treatment of a tumor in Relay for Life’s opening ceremonies. I encourage all of you: do something against cancer, it’s already taken too many people!
According to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life’s site, the “movement is the world’s largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. With the support of thousands of volunteers like you, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 500 lives a day.”
Their event “Relay For Life” is the largest and most impactful fundraiser in the world to end cancer.
As I close my speech, I share: “Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination…the best is yet to come!”
